Mae\u2019r duedd bryderus hon wedi gadael nifer ohonom ni\u2019n meddwl tybed pam mae\u2019n digwydd, ac eto bach iawn o astudiaethau sy\u2019n ymchwilio i\u2019r achosion wrth wraidd hyn. Dyma pam mae ein hymchwil yn amserol ac yn hanfodol. Nod yr astudiaeth oedd archwilio tueddiadau mewn amgyffredion am bwysau gwaith ysgol a phroblemau emosiynol yng Nghymru dros y cyfnod hwn, ac i bennu a allai newidiadau mewn pwysau gwaith ysgol esbonio\u2019r cynnydd mewn problemau emosiynol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0d6ffaf28041077b1b06095d6c592289\" style=\"color:#002e62\">Cyn cynnal yr astudiaeth hon, siaradais ag aelodau ein Gr\u0175p Cynghori Ieuenctid yng <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cardiff.ac.uk\/cy\/wolfson-centre-for-young-peoples-mental-health\">Nghanolfan Wolfson ar gyfer Iechyd Meddwl Pobl Ifanc \u2013 Prifysgol Caerdydd<\/a> ym <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cardiff.ac.uk\/cy\">Mhrifysgol Caerdydd<\/a>. Rhannont bryderon am faint o waith ysgol ac arholiadau sydd ganddynt, a sut roeddent yn teimlo dan bwysau i ragori er mwyn cael lle mewn prifysgol. Fe wnaeth siarad \u00e2\u2019r bobl ifanc amlygu pa mor bwysig yw hi i ddeall a mynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2\u2019r pwysau hyn sy\u2019n gysylltiedig \u00e2\u2019r ysgol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-349e609d28be6e75c0a48f7c40972480\" style=\"color:#002e62\">Ers 2009, mae nifer y dysgwyr yng Nghymru sy\u2019n adrodd am bwysau gwaith ysgol wedi bron i ddyblu, gydag oddeutu 26% yn teimlo llawer o bwysau yn 2021. Merched h\u0177n oedd yn adrodd am y pwysau hyn yn fwyaf cyffredin, ac roedd yn esbonio rhywfaint o\u2019r cynnydd mewn problemau emosiynol ymhlith pobl ifanc. Mae\u2019r canfyddiadau hyn yn amlygu pryder pwysig o ran iechyd cyhoeddus. Pam mae pobl ifanc dan bwysau cynyddol?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0d9486f3d7e43aea3c5b108f11f21cbd\" style=\"color:#002e62\">Defnyddiodd yr astudiaeth ddata uwchradd o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shrn.org.uk\/cy\/ein-partneriaeth-gyda-hbsc\/\">astudiaeth Ymddygiad Iechyd mewn Plant Oed Ysgol<\/a> a data arolygon y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shrn.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/SHRN-Health-and-Well-being-Survey-Fact-Sheet-Cymraeg.pdf\">Rhwydwaith Ymchwil Iechyd mewn Ysgolion<\/a>. Fe wnaeth yr arolygon hyn gynnwys samplau cynrychioliadol yn genedlaethol o ddisgyblion uwchradd yng Nghymru, rhwng 2002 a 2021, yn cwmpasu data gan 300,000 o unigolion. Fe wnaeth cyfran y bobl ifanc yng Nghymru sy\u2019n amgyffred llawer o bwysau gwaith ysgol gynyddu rhwng 2009 a 2021, gan adlewyrchu cynnydd tebyg mewn problemau emosiynol. Mae deall pam mae pobl ifanc yn profi mwy o bwysau yn hanfodol i iechyd cyhoeddus a gall lywio ymyriadau i helpu pobl ifanc i ymdopi \u00e2 gofynion academaidd a chymdeithas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a9e9ff0f02b82ec103f3c274a1b82e25\" style=\"color:#002e62\">Dylai astudiaethau yn y dyfodol ymchwilio i b\u2019un a yw newidiadau mewn amgyffredion o bwysau gwaith ysgol yn adlewyrchu amgylcheddau ysgol lle mae mwy o bwysau, newidiadau yn nisgwyliadau pobl ifanc neu gymdeithas, neu heriau eraill sy\u2019n effeithio ar allu pobl ifanc i ymdopi. Mae\u2019r ddealltwriaeth hon yn allweddol i atal cynnydd pellach mewn pwysau gwaith ysgol ac iechyd meddwl a lles pobl ifanc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-49f71453583ee7c071c9c32ef4142c47\" style=\"color:#002e62\">Mae ein hastudiaeth yn codi pryderon pwysig am y pwysau y mae pobl ifanc yng Nghymru yn eu hwynebu. Gallai\u2019r cynnydd cyffredinol mewn pwysau gwaith ysgol fod wedi cyfrannu at y cynnydd mewn problemau emosiynol, yn enwedig ymhlith merched. Mae deall y rhesymau wrth wraidd y pwysau hyn yn hanfodol i atal cynnydd pellach a mynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2 phroblemau iechyd meddwl a lles. Hefyd, gall fod angen newid diwylliannol ehangach tuag at reoli gofynion academaidd i ategu datblygiad iach cenedlaethau\u2019r dyfodol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d52570707ed92c33dc220921a1fc7029\" style=\"color:#002e62\"><strong><strong>I gloi, mae ein hastudiaeth yn amlygu pryder cynyddol: y lefelau cynyddol o amgyffredion am bwysau gwaith ysgol ymhlith pobl ifanc yng Nghymru a\u2019u cysylltiad \u00e2\u2019r cynnydd mewn problemau emosiynol. Mae\u2019r duedd hon yn pwysleisio angen dybryd am ymchwil pellach i ddeall yr achosion wrth ei gwraidd ac i ddatblygu ymyriadau effeithiol. Trwy fynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2\u2019r pwysau hyn, gallwn helpu pobl ifanc i reoli galwadau academaidd a chymdeithasol yn fwy effeithiol, gan gefnogi eu hiechyd meddwl a\u2019u lles yn well yn y pen draw.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7215acb8c8a78ba505432fa683755c61\" style=\"color:#002e62\">Diolch am roi o\u2019ch amser i ddarllen am ein hymchwil.
