Rwy\u2019n defnyddio data Iechyd a Lles Myfyrwyr 2021 y Rhwydwaith Ymchwil Iechyd mewn Ysgolion i archwilio\u2019r anghydraddoldebau iechyd y mae pobl ifanc drawsryweddol a rhywedd-amrywiol (TGD) yn cael profiad ohonynt yng Nghymru. Mae fy astudiaeth hefyd yn bwrw golwg ar sut mae polis\u00efau, arferion ac amgylcheddau cyffredin ysgolion yn llywio\u2019r deilliannau hyn. I wneud hyn, rwy\u2019n cyfuno dadansoddiadau ansoddol ar raddfa fawr gydag ymchwil ansoddol sy\u2019n cynnwys staff ysgol, dysgwyr TGD a gwneuthurwyr penderfyniadau\u2011ymarferwyr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong><u>Pam mae\u2019r Ymchwil hon yn bwysig<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gall pobl ifanc drawsryweddol a rhywedd-amrywiol<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> (TGD) wynebu anghydraddoldebau iechyd o gymharu \u00e2 chyfoedion cisryweddol<a href=\"#_ftn2\" id=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>. Tra bod gwahaniaethau mewn iechyd meddwl wedi\u2019u cofnodi\u2019n helaeth, mae llawer llai yn hysbys am ddeiliannau iechyd eraill, fel gweithgarwch corfforol, defnyddio sylweddau a bwyta\u2019n iach, a\u2019r r\u00f4l mae ysgolion yn ei chwarae yn llywio\u2019r rhain. Mae fy ymchwil yn dechrau mynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2\u2019r bylchau hyn gan ddefnyddio data 2021 y Rhwydwaith i archwilio anghydraddoldebau posibl ar draws amrediad ehangach o ddeilliannau iechyd a lles. Mae hefyd yn archwilio sut mae cyd-destunau ysgolion uwchradd yn dylanwadu ar y deilliannau hyn. Nod fy ngwaith yw darparu tystiolaeth a all helpu ysgolion i greu amgylcheddau mwy cynhwysol a chefnogol.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Beth mae tystiolaeth yn ei ddweud wrthym<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae tystiolaeth yn awgrymu bod pobl ifanc drawsryweddol a rhywedd-amrywiol (TGD) yn profi iechyd meddwl gwaeth o lawer na phobl ifanc cisryweddol (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.annualreviews.org\/content\/journals\/10.1146\/annurev-clinpsy-072220-020326\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wittlin, Kuper &amp; Olson 2023<\/a>;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S1054139X23000198\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">White et al. 2023<\/a>;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/services\/aop-cambridge-core\/content\/view\/37857C554CE761DD19FA01752B20C7DE\/S2056472423005343a.pdf\/psychological_distress_selfharm_and_suicide_attempts_in_gender_minority_compared_with_cisgender_adolescents_in_the_uk.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">White, Trinh &amp; Reynolds 2023<\/a>).&nbsp;Hefyd, mae ymchwil sy\u2019n awgrymu bod profiad pobl ifanc TGD yn yr ysgol yn gysylltiedig \u00e2\u2019u hiechyd meddwl (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.1080\/26895269.2022.2081645\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Horton 2023<\/a>;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/36291456\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kelley et al. 2022<\/a>;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/34533210\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Johns et al. 2021<\/a>).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fodd bynnag, prin yw\u2019r ymchwil sy\u2019n archwilio p\u2019un a yw pobl ifanc TGD yn profi anghydraddoldebau mewn deilliannau eraill sy\u2019n gysylltiedig ag iechyd a lles, a sut mae ysgolion yn dylanwadu ar y rhain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong><u><strong><u>Defnyddio Data\u2019r Rhwydwaith ar gyfer Mewnwelediadau Newydd <\/u><\/strong><\/u>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gan adeiladu ar y dystiolaeth hon, mae fy astudiaeth PhD yn defnyddio data Arolwg Iechyd a Lles Myfyrwyr 2021 y Rhwydwaith i archwilio anghydraddoldebau cysylltiedig ag iechyd y mae pobl ifanc TGD yn cael profiad ohonynt. Rwy\u2019n archwilio p\u2019un a yw\u2019r anghydraddoldebau hyn yn mynd y tu hwnt i iechyd meddwl, i feysydd fel gweithgarwch corfforol, defnyddio sylweddau a bwyta\u2019n iach. Ochr yn ochr \u00e2 hyn, byddaf yn archwilio sut mae polis\u00efau ac arferion ysgolion uwchradd yn dylanwadu ar iechyd dysgwyr TGD trwy siarad \u00e2 staff ysgol, pobl ifanc TGD, ac ymarferwyr sy\u2019n ymwneud ag iechyd ac addysg. Y nod yw cynhyrchu tystiolaeth a all helpu ysgolion i greu amgylcheddau mwy cynhwysol a lleihau anghydraddoldebau iechyd. Gyda\u2019i gilydd, bydd hyn yn helpu i adeiladu darlun llawnach o ble mae anghydraddoldebau yn bodoli a pham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gall fod yn heriol i ymchwilwyr ddeall p\u2019un a yw pobl ifanc TGD yn profi gwahaniaethau mewn deilliannau cysylltiedig ag iechyd o gymharu \u00e2\u2019u cyfoedion cisryweddol. Un rheswm yw bod astudiaethau\u2019n aml yn cael trafferth recriwtio sampl digon mawr ac amrywiol o bobl ifanc \u00e2 hunaniaethau rhywedd gwahanol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dyma ble mae data\u2019r Rhwydwaith yn gwneud gwahaniaeth. Mae\u2019r Rhwydwaith yn cynnal arolwg o filoedd o bobl ifanc ar draws Cymru bob dwy flynedd ac mae\u2019n gofyn cwestiynau am amrediad eang o ddeilliannau iechyd a lles. Hefyd, gall pobl ifanc ddewis rhannu eu hunaniaeth rhywedd, sy\u2019n golygu bod data\u2019r Rhwydwaith yn darparu cyfle unigryw i astudio gwahaniaethau mewn deilliannau cysylltiedig ag iechyd rhwng grwpiau hunaniaeth rhywedd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae fy PhD yn canolbwyntio ar 5 maes allweddol:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Iechyd meddwl<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defnyddio sylweddau<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gweithgarwch corfforol<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bwyta\u2019n iach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Trwy ddefnyddio data Arolwg Iechyd a Lles Myfyrwyr 2021 y Rhwydwaith, rwy\u2019 wedi gallu cymharu\u2019r deilliannau hyn ar draws pobl ifanc sydd \u00e2 hunaniaethau rhywedd gwahanol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae canfyddiadau cynnar yn awgrymu bod pobl ifanc TGD yn adrodd am lai o weithgarwch corfforol ac iechyd meddwl a lles gwaeth o gymharu \u00e2 chyfoedion cisryweddol. Rwy\u2019n parhau \u00e2\u2019r dadansoddiad a byddaf yn rhannu canlyniadau manwl mewn papur ymchwil sydd ar ddod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong><u><strong><u>Sut gall ysgolion uwchradd gymryd rhan<\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae\u2019r patrymau hyn yn codi cwestiynau pwysig: Sut mae amgylcheddau ysgolion yn dylanwadu ar ymddygiadau a deilliannau iechyd? Byddaf yn gweithio gyda phedair ysgol uwchradd ar draws Cymru i recriwtio staff a dysgwyr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bydd fy ymchwil yn defnyddio:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grwpiau ffocws gyda staff ysgol (gan gynnwys uwch rolau arwain, rolau addysgu a rolau bugeiliol)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grwpiau ffocws creadigol gyda phobl ifanc trawsryweddol, anneuaidd a rhywedd-amrywiol<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cyfweliadau gyda gweithwyr proffesiynol sy\u2019n gweithio ym maes addysg ac iechyd (e.e. rolau addysg Llywodraeth Cymru ac awdurdodau lleol, cydlynwyr ysgolion sy\u2019n hyrwyddo iechyd a lles, a rolau iechyd cyhoeddus eraill sy\u2019n gysylltiedig \u00e2 lleoliadau addysg uwchradd).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Y nod yw darparu mewnwelediadau ymarferol i staff ysgol a llunwyr polisi i greu amgylcheddau ysgol mwy cynhwysol a chefnogol i ddysgwyr TGD, ac i nodi beth sy\u2019n gweithio a beth sydd angen ei newid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong><strong>Edrych tua\u2019r dyfodol: Sut gall ysgolion wneud gwahaniaeth<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae data 2021 y Rhwydwaith wedi rhoi darlun cliriach i ni o\u2019r heriau iechyd a lles sy\u2019n cael eu hwynebu gan bobl ifanc TGD. Nesaf, byddaf i\u2019n archwilio sut mae polis\u00efau ysgol ac arferion dydd i ddydd yn cyfrannu at y deilliannau hyn, a pha ddulliau cynhwysol all wneud gwahaniaeth mesuradwy. Mae pobl ifanc TGD yn haeddu amgylcheddau ysgol lle maen nhw\u2019n teimlo\u2019n ddiogel, yn cael eu gweld ac yn cael eu cefnogi, a gall eich mewnwelediadau wir helpu i wireddu hynny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae cam nesaf fy PhD yn dibynnu ar brofiad bywyd ac arbenigedd proffesiynol pobl sy\u2019n gweithio\u2019n uniongyrchol mewn addysg uwchradd ac iechyd. Trwy gymryd rhan, byddwch yn helpu i lywio argymhellion realistig, ymarferol y gall ysgolion ar draws Cymru eu defnyddio i wella iechyd a lles dysgwyr TGD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rwy\u2019n awyddus i weithio gyda phedair ysgol uwchradd ar draws Cymru i gynorthwyo \u00e2 recriwtio staff a dysgwyr i gymryd rhan. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os ydych chi\u2019n gweithio, neu\u2019n adnabod rhywun sy\u2019n gweithio, mewn ysgol uwchradd yng Nghymru a allai gyfrannu at hyn, byddwn wrth fy modd yn clywed gennych. Byddwn hefyd yn awyddus i siarad \u00e2 phobl sy\u2019n gweithio ym meysydd addysg ac iechyd (megis rolau addysg Llywodraeth Cymru ac awdurdodau lleol, cydlynwyr ysgolion sy\u2019n hyrwyddo iechyd a lles, a rolau iechyd cyhoeddus eraill sy\u2019n ymwneud \u00e2 lleoliadau addysg uwchradd).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae eich safbwyntiau a\u2019ch profiadau yn hanfodol; gallant ddylanwadu\u2019n uniongyrchol ar sut rydym ni\u2019n deall yr heriau hyn a sut rydym ni\u2019n adeiladu dulliau mwy cynhwysol sydd wir yn gwneud gwahaniaeth i bobl ifanc TGD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Diddordeb mewn cymryd rhan?
