Ashton<\/a> ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd a <a href=\"https:\/\/pure.cardiffmet.ac.uk\/en\/persons\/tabitha-dickson\/\">Tabitha Dickson<\/a> ym Mhrifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd. Gan dynnu ar ymchwil diweddar gyda bechgyn a dynion ifanc, mae Lauren yn edrych ar yr hyn maent yn ei ddysgu ar hyn o bryd, yr hyn maen nhw eisiau ei wybod, a sut y gall addysgu mwy cynhwysol helpu i leihau stigma a meithrin dealltwriaeth. Mae hi hefyd yn rhannu cynlluniau ar gyfer astudiaeth fwy a fydd yn cefnogi ysgolion i greu sgyrsiau mwy agored a chefnogol am lesiant mislif. Mae&#8217;r blog hwn o ddiddordeb i ddarllenwyr SHRN oherwydd ei fod yn dwyn ynghyd dystiolaeth newydd, safbwyntiau pobl ifanc, a mewnwelediadau ymarferol a all helpu ysgolion i gryfhau lles mislif i bob dysgwr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Yr Hyn Rydym yn Gwybod<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae tua 1.8 biliwn o bobl ledled y byd yn cael mislif bob mis. Er bod mislif yn gwbl naturiol, mae&#8217;n dal i gael ei amgylchynu gan stigma, embaras a chamddealltwriaeth. Mae <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.wales\/womens-health\/womens-health-plan-for-wales\/\">Cynllun Iechyd Menywod GIG Cymru<\/a> (2025\u20132035) yn tynnu sylw at iechyd mislif fel mater iechyd cyhoeddus a chydraddoldeb, a rhywbeth y mae angen i bawb yn y gymdeithas ei ddeall a&#8217;i gefnogi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I lawer o blant a phobl ifanc, gall mislif wneud bywyd ysgol yn anoddach. Ar gyfartaledd, mae merched 15 oed yn colli tua 3 diwrnod o ysgol y flwyddyn oherwydd symptomau mislif ac yn treulio tua 14 diwrnod yn ei chael hi&#8217;n anodd canolbwyntio neu gymryd rhan lawn tra yn yr ysgol (1). I&#8217;r rhai o deuluoedd incwm isel neu gefndiroedd lleiafrifol, mae tlodi mislif (sy\u2019n methu \u00e2 fforddio cynhyrchion mislif) yn ychwanegu hyd yn oed mwy o bwysau (2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Er bod Llywodraeth Cymru wedi buddsoddi \u00a39 miliwn i helpu i fynd i&#8217;r afael \u00e2 thlodi mislif a gwella addysg, mae bechgyn a dynion ifanc yn aml yn cael eu gadael allan o&#8217;r sgyrsiau hyn. Mae dysgu pawb am y mislif yn helpu i chwalu stigma, meithrin dealltwriaeth, a chreu ysgolion a chymunedau mwy cefnogol. Fodd bynnag, mae llawer o wersi yn dal i ganolbwyntio&#8217;n bennaf ar y rhai sydd \u00e2 mislif, sy&#8217;n golygu bod gan fechgyn a dynion ifanc lai o gyfleoedd yn aml i ddysgu am y pwnc mewn ffordd strwythuredig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae angen i ni hefyd feddwl am y ffordd orau o addysgu&#8217;r pwnc hwn. Gall dosbarthiadau cymysg o ran rhywedd helpu i normaleiddio&#8217;r sgwrs , tra mewn lleoliadau eraill gall dysgwyr deimlo ychydig yn anghyfforddus. Mae addysg am mislif effeithiol yn gynhwysol ac yn sensitif, gan helpu pawb i deimlo eu bod yn cael eu parchu tra mewn lleoliadau eraill gall dysgwyr deimlo ychydig yn anghyfforddus. Mae addysg mislif effeithiol yn gynhwysol ac yn sensitif, gan helpu pawb i deimlo eu bod yn cael eu parchu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Yr Hyn a Wnaethom &#8211; ein gwaith blaenorol yn y maes hwn:<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I ddysgu mwy am y mater hwn, fe wnaethom gynnal astudiaeth arolwg gyda 155 o ddynion ifanc a phobl a neilltuwyd yn wrywaidd adeg eu geni (16\u201325 oed) a fynychodd ysgol yn y DU. Roeddem eisiau dysgu am yr addysg mislif a gawsant, pa mor hyderus oedden nhw yn eu gwybodaeth, a sut roedd hyn yn gysylltiedig \u00e2&#8217;u hagweddau tuag at fislif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Sut y Gwnaethom<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cwblhaodd y cyfranogwyr arolwg ar-lein. Gofynnwyd am yr hyn a gwnaethant ddysgu yn yr ysgol, pwy a&#8217;i haddysgodd, a pha mor hyderus oedden nhw yn eu gwybodaeth am fislif. Fe wnaethom hefyd archwilio eu barn ar stigma, a&#8217;u hagweddau tuag at bolis\u00efau sy&#8217;n gysylltiedig \u00e2 mislif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Yr Hyn a Wnaethom Ddarganfod<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dywedodd y rhan fwyaf o\u2019r cyfranogwyr eu bod wedi cael rhywfaint o addysg mislif yn yr ysgol, ond roedd llawer o\u2019r farn ei bod o ansawdd gwael neu\u2019n ddi-fudd.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roedd y rhai a oedd yn gwybod mwy am fislif yn llai tebygol o ddal safbwyntiau negyddol neu stigmateiddiol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helpodd dysgu am brofiadau go iawn o fislif, nid y \u00a0ffeithiau biolegol yn unig, i feithrin empathi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dywedodd rhai fod dosbarthiadau cymysg eu rhywedd yn ddefnyddiol ar gyfer normaleiddio&#8217;r pwnc, ond dywedodd eraill fod j\u00f4cs neu bryfocio yn y grwpiau cymysg hyn yn gwneud dysgu&#8217;n heriol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Y gwersi mwyaf effeithiol oedd y rhai a gyfunodd ffeithiau \u00e2 rheoli cyfnodau ymarferol, gan helpu pawb i ddeall y wyddoniaeth a&#8217;r effaith gymdeithasol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At ei gilydd, mae&#8217;r canfyddiadau&#8217;n dangos bod bechgyn a dynion ifanc <em>eisiau<\/em> dysgu am fislif, ond mae angen addysg arnyn nhw sy&#8217;n teimlo&#8217;n berthnasol, yn onest, ac yn barchus. Pan nad oes gan bobl ifanc wybodaeth, mae stigma yn fwy tebygol o ledaenu a llunio diwylliant yr ysgol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Yr Hyn Hoffem Wybod<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ar hyn o bryd nid oes gennym ddealltwriaeth a thystiolaeth o sut i fynd i&#8217;r afael ag anghenion amrywiol merched a bechgyn mewn ysgolion o ran addysg iechyd mislif. Mae angen i ni ddeall sut olwg sydd ar addysg mislif effeithiol i fechgyn a dynion ifanc, a sut i&#8217;w cynnwys mewn ffyrdd cefnogol sy&#8217;n lleihau stigma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae ein hymchwil blaenorol yn dangos bod dynion ifanc eisiau deall mwy am fislif. Maent eisiau gwybodaeth ffeithiol yngl\u0177n \u00e2 beth sy&#8217;n digwydd yn ystod mislif, sut mae&#8217;n effeithio ar bobl yn gorfforol ac yn emosiynol, a sut y gallant gynnig cefnogaeth. Pan fydd addysg mislif yn cael ei gwahanu yn \u00f4l rhyw, gall wneud i fislif deimlo fel pwnc i un gr\u0175p o ddysgwyr yn unig, gan atgyfnerthu&#8217;r syniad nad yw&#8217;n rhywbeth y dylai pawb ei ddeall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gobeithiwn y bydd ein camau nesaf yn astudiaeth fwy, dwy gam, a fydd yn archwilio&#8217;r ffyrdd gorau o gynnwys bechgyn a dynion ifanc mewn addysg mislif. Drwy ddeall beth sy&#8217;n gweithio, gallwn helpu i greu sgyrsiau mwy agored a chefnogol am fislif mewn ysgolion a chymunedau fel y gall pawb, waeth beth fo&#8217;u rhyw, chwarae rhan mewn rhoi terfyn ar stigma a hyrwyddo lles mislif. Y ddau gam yw:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Cyfnod 1 (Yn digwydd rhwng Ebrill a Gorffennaf 2026)<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grwpiau ffocws gyda dysgwyr ysgol uwchradd &#8211; y rhai sydd \u00e2 mislif a&#8217;r rhai nad oes ganddynt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cyfweliadau gyda rhieni a gofalwyr, gofalwyr ac athrawon i ddeall beth sy&#8217;n helpu neu&#8217;n ei gwneud yn anoddach addysgu am fislif.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Cyfnod 2 (Yn digwydd rhwng &nbsp;Medi a Rhagfyr 2026)<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Arolwg ar raddfa fawr gyda thua 2,000 o bobl ifanc 13\u201316 oed mewn ysgolion ledled Cymru.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cwestiynau sy&#8217;n archwilio beth mae dysgwyr eisiau dysgu am y mislif, beth maen nhw&#8217;n meddwl y dylai bechgyn a dynion ifanc ei ddysgu, pryd a sut y dylai dysgu ddigwydd, a pha rwystrau sy&#8217;n bodoli.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dadansoddiad o sut mae safbwyntiau&#8217;n amrywio yn \u00f4l oedran, cefndir ac incwm teuluol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein nod yw darganfod pa rannau o gwricwlwm ac amgylchedd yr ysgol y gellir eu newid i wneud addysg mislif yn fwy cynhwysol i bawb. Drwy wrando ar fechgyn a dynion ifanc, gallwn ddylunio addysg sy&#8217;n helpu i leihau empathi, meithrin empathi, a chefnogi&#8217;r rhai sydd \u00e2 mislif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Casgliad <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae deall sut mae bechgyn a dynion ifanc yn dysgu am fislif yn allweddol i greu amgylcheddau ysgol mwy agored a chefnogol. Mae ein canfyddiadau\u2019n tynnu sylw at awydd clir am addysg well, fwy cynhwysol sy\u2019n lleihau stigma ac yn helpu pob dysgwr i deimlo\u2019n hyderus wrth siarad am iechyd mislif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wrth i&#8217;r gwaith hwn ddatblygu, rydym yn gobeithio partneru ag ysgolion a phobl ifanc i archwilio dulliau sy&#8217;n teimlo&#8217;n ymarferol ac yn gynhwysol mewn ystafelloedd dosbarth go iawn.
